What is FlexAssist?
FlexAssist is FlexEquip's AI hire assistant, built into the customer portal. It answers questions about your rates and hires, and can book, extend, off-hire and move equipment for you. It is available to every FlexEquip account holder across Auckland and New Zealand.
How do I use FlexAssist?
Log in to your FlexEquip customer portal and open FlexAssist. Type your question the way you would say it, for example "what does a 12m scissor lift cost this month" or "off-hire the forklift on my Manukau site". FlexAssist replies instantly and can lodge the request for our team to confirm.
Does FlexAssist show my own rates?
Yes. FlexAssist prices everything on your agreed account rates, shown excluding GST, so the numbers you see are the numbers you pay. It never shows another customer's pricing.
Can FlexAssist book and off-hire equipment?
Yes. FlexAssist can create a booking, extend a current hire, off-hire a machine and arrange a move, all from the chat. Our Auckland team always confirms each request before equipment is delivered or collected.
Is FlexAssist available after hours?
FlexAssist is available in your portal around the clock, so you can check pricing, book gear or lodge an off-hire outside normal office hours. Requests are actioned by our team when we are open.
How do I get access to FlexAssist?
FlexAssist comes free with a FlexEquip credit account. Apply online, and once your account is approved you can log in to the portal and start using FlexAssist straight away.
